Day 1 of Vacation is a Success!
So I decided to take a couple days off this week. So far today I have done the following: woke up early, drank a lot of water, found out we are having a baby girl who loves sporting finger guns, ate a massive amount of Abuelo’s, took an epic nap, and researched baby names.
Pretty good day!
Screw this. I want to go home and take a nap.

I absolutely abhor when people say FML. Brought to fame via the interwebs, FML has to be the most over-used unnecessary exclamatatory statement ever.

Anyone know magic?
I need a “start fresh” spell. I need all my open projects to be deleted. I need my house to be remodeled, painted, clean and organized. I need my desk to be spotless. And then I need a vacation in which I come back and just start over. I’ll be able to be creative and effective at my job. I’ll be able to be a good house-keeper. Laundry will be kept up. Dishes will be done....
You know what really grinds my gears?
Though I am fully aware it is my job to write canned responses, explanations and descriptions of several topics relating to my company and the people we serve, it really irks me when coworkers just copy and past entire sections from my publications and brochures to put into their articles, research, presentations and then want credit for their article, research, presentation. Ooh fun. I used to habitually dye my hair as well. From about 12 - 19, I had no idea what my hair color was, but I vaguely remembered it being brown.
